PRP therapy for the face is a treatment that involves withdrawing a patient's own blood, processing it so that only the enriched cells (platelet-rich plasma) remain, and THE TREATING THE SKIN WITH IT.  aT REVITLAIZE RX WE HAVE MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP OR PRP INJECTIONS.  PRP contains essential proteins that stimulate new cell growth, helping to improve your complexion, skin texture and to restore lost facial volume.  PRP will help to naturally restore overall facial volume, remodel the tissue and improve the overall skin appearance.

PRP will induce your under-eye area to create more collagen and blood vessels and thicken the skin there. In turn, you not only have new skin with a healthier structure but there will also be more flesh in between your blood vessels under your eyes and the skin of your face. Both of those things reduce the appearance of under-eye circles. Where can PRP be used?

Under eyes (to help treat hallowing & dark circles) , cheeks, Nasolabial folds (the lines alongside the nose down to the sides of the mouth), Marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the chin), Scars (when applied topically with micro needling)

What to expect...

Treatment begins A topical anesthetic cream, numbing your face for ~30 minutes.  while you are numbing our Revitalize staff will draw blood from your body and place the vile into a centrifuge.  This process separates your white blood cells from the red. see the below diagram:

 

Once you’re numb, the nurse uses a needle to inject your plasma into the SKIN under your eyes.  Your Nurse injector will inject into a few different spots under your eyes and massage as they go.  WITH THE HELP OF THE TOPICAL ANESTHETIC, YOUR TREATMENT WON'T BE TERRIBLY PAINFUL BUT YOU WILL FEEL THE INJECTIONS.  AFTER TREATMENT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE SLIGHTLY BRUISED AND SWOLLEN.  THIS WILL DIMINISH OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.
